Coaches Mission:
To teach the game of lacrosse and sportsmanship to the players in Smithtown by creating a positive and fun experience. The youth league aims to enhance the skills of the players entering Middle School and High School.
Smithtown Township Lacrosse is a member of Suffolk County Youth Lacrosse. We are obligated to understand and abide by all of the league rules. The league rules can be found by clicking here.
Suffolk County Youth Lacrosse conducts a mandatory coaches meeting prior to the start of the season. All coaches and assistant coaches must attend.
Suffolk County Youth Lacrosse also has an Ethics Committee that handles all incidents involving unprofessional conduct by coaches. Any incidents that occur which involve a Smithtown coach must be immediately reported to the Smithtown President in writing.
