TEAM Smithtown

Mission:

 To provide a competitive venue for the more experienced and skilled lacrosse players who desire to play and compete at a higher level against select and elite teams.

Selection:

Players selected to TEAM Smithtown will be evaluated based upon ability, attitude and sportsmanship.

Staff:

 With the assistance of the high school coaching staffs, TEAM Smithtown is geared toward developing the student athlete who intends on playing high school lacrosse at Smithtown EAST or Smithtown WEST.

Commitment:

 TEAM Smithtown players are expected to attend all practices and tournaments and the staff expects that TEAM Smithtown is the primary athletic commitment for the season.  TEAM Smithtown  practices run primarily from November through July.  The cost per player includes:  tournaments, uniforms,registration fees and expenses,field maintenance,US Lacrosse insurance,Nationalax membership and misc. expenses i.e. lacrosse balls,mouthpieces.  All TEAM Smithtown players that have been selected are required to register for the Spring Lacrosse season.   The Team that the player is selected to will be the team assignment for the Spring and Summer programs.
